Rev. Paul A. Lachance, Ph.D, FACN, CNS
The Rev. Dr. Paul A. Lachance website is dedicated to honoring the legacy of the lead scientist who contributed to the Mercury, Gemini ,and early Apollo programs; his work as Professor of Food Science for Rutgers University for over 40 years; and being among the first Permanent Deacons (Catholic) in the USA.
The main goal of the website is to create a comprehensive archive containing hundreds of documents, photographs, videos, and audio files which can all be shared with the world. We wish to have his contributions--and the contributions of his colleagues and students--honored and used. There is a desire to connect with other scientists and share educational resources related to space exploration, HACCP, and food science.
The website will serve as a platform to preserve and showcase the valuable work of Rev. Dr. Paul A. Lachance. To many, he was "Doc" or "Boss" or "Deacon Paul"...to us, he was Dad. We miss you AND the primary person who lifted Dad up to success: our beautiful Mom.
